Senate Democrats are gathering their party’s support ahead of a Congressional vote on two key voting rights bills. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer announced Thursday that the upper chamber will take up the bill next Tuesday, June 22. But Republican Senators are expected to hold a filibuster in an attempt to cancel the bills’ passage.
