Meanwhile, in my experience, if you get a reputation for having a moral compass that that doesn't acknowledge "protect bad officers" as priority #1, it's hard to even get an interview--this (in my case) with a 4 year degree in Criminal Justice.
Those of you who remember the California rampart scandal the TV show "The Shield" was loosely based off of? Most of those officers were re hired a few miles down the road.

So if your trying to do the right thing for the people you serve, no job?, and if your covering up to protect a cop, the doors are open?… are you a cop? and why would you still want to be one?
